The Pope is coming under attack (see this BBC news article) for his involvement in cases of child abuse. It seems he failed to act swiftly to prevent priests who were known to be practicing this obscene behavior.
One reason this is a problem is because of the Roman Catholic celibate priesthood.
It is a shame that the Bible is not consulted! This prophecy about a great apostasy that would come out of the true faith is an interesting and apt description of what we see happening within the Catholic church:
“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.” 1 Tim 4:1-3
Forbidding to marry then is not a scriptural idea! Why then has it become part of church tradition? It is because the Catholic church is not based upon the Bible.

Captain Pugwash ‘er me hearties!
Serious buiz this – I’ve known a lot of land lubbers who, as youngsters, were abused by a corrupt Roman catholic Priesthood – totally un-natural if yers asks me – celibate priesthoodan all! Evil even. Unfortunately, land-lubbers & sea folk assume that the Roman Catholic church teaches what Jesus taught – BUT it ain’t in The Bible!. Out at sea here, we spend many an hour in the doldrums when we’s get outs our Bible’s to see for ourselfs’ what is the Truth of the matter and what do we find? We invite your close inspection of the following outstanding fact that anyone can investigate for himself:
This man’s name (Benedict) can be identified with the symbolic clues given concerning the name of the man / Beast given in The Holy Bibles’ book of Revelation chapter 13 verses 17-18, namely:
“… The name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six Hundred Threescore and Six. (666)”
“The Roman pope Benedict’s selected name is based on the Greek “Benediktos,” which, in the Greek language numerically adds to 666.
B=2; e=5; n=50; e=5; d=4; I=10; k=20; t=300; O=70; S=200.”
Now, how about the fact that from the 2nd century A.D onwards, the interpretation/identification “LATEINOS” (Latin Kingdom) has been given, to this man who heads up that ‘beast’ kingdom, by Irenaeus, the disciple of Polycarp {born A.D. 70} who was contemporary with the apostle John (the writer of the Revelation given by Jesus), thus:
L A T E I N O S
30 1 300 5 10 50 70 200 = 666
*******************************************
Also, the official name or title of the popes is “Vicar of the son of God” – ‘Vicarius Filli Dei’
V I C A R I U S F I L I I D E I
5 1 100 0 0 1 5 0 0 1 50 1 1 500 0 1 = 666
*******************************************
The Hebrew word for this power is ‘ROMIITH’ – the Hebrew value being:
R O M I I TH
200 6 40 10 10 400 = 666
*******************************************
Plus, the official signature of the pope is “DUX CLERI” which means “High or Chief Priest”. Being Latin this adds to:
D U X C L E R I
500 0 1 100 50 0 0 1 = 666
Therefore, every time the Pope of Rome officially signs a document, he writes the Latin equivalent of the number 666.
*******************************************
“Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” (Rev. 18:4).

Its true, looking to the bible, there are so many exaples of people who were married, Peter, one of Christs disciples was married! Catholics say he was the first pope! Haha! To qualify to be part of the Sanhedrian, the person must be married with kids! Etc
